Still Hunting Snows

Postby pvn6616 » Wed Mar 12, 2014 4:18 pm

I attempted to do my part to help conserve the nesting grounds of the greater snow geese by thinning out the flocks today down along the coast and enjoyed some fine company of Chickie and Nicky along with Jack the Wonder Dog. It was a welcome relief to hunt without snow or freezing winds sending chills down the spine but the winds picked up and the rains came in the afternoon, slowing the action.

As always the day was a success, all had a fantastic time and the camera worked today!

Oh yeah, they tore down my house yesterday...FINALLY some progress!

Glad to see someone is still getting out. Before next season I plan on picking up some snow goose decoys so I can target them also.

Good luck with the house.

which layout blinds are you using and are they well suited for gunning the meadow?

I took the liberty of moving the 'Pond Box Pete' post up to answer this question.
