Tentative Season Dates For 2014/2015

Postby LeakyBoot » Tue Jun 03, 2014 5:50 pm

It's great how NJ has these dates available so early in the year. Heck, Pa won't have anything till late August.

The only issue I have is the Coastal Zone starts a little too early for me, would of liked to see the start date on Nov 8th.
But time to think about duck hunting!

Note: The following dates were recommended by the Division of Fish and Wildlife to
the Fish and Game Council at their April 8, 2014, meeting.

The Fish and Game Council will decide tentative 2014-15 migratory bird season
dates at the June 10, 2014, Council meeting. Dates will not become final until after
the Federal regulatory process and comment periods as described in the Federal
Register under 50 CFR Part 20.

What's with the 2 different Brant dates? 30-50
There are still things worth dying for and 1 of those things is freedom.

Depends on what the Feds will allow, it'll either be a 30 or 50 day season.

Given the low Brant numbers last season it'll surprise me if they even have a season.
