Duck numbers, ~32K at Bosque del Apache, up from last year at this time.
Bird movement on the Rio from Los Lunas to Bernardo yesterday afternoon until dark was slow. Cranes out and about but no ducks flying at all.
Amazing how just a little over a week ago I had birds moving in out of the decoys. Blue bird days, the birds are not flying and they have found the safe zones. This makes for slow days.
All this says is head south and I mean south. Maybe by later Nov. the Rio in this area will pick up. At least Game and Fish got water in Bernardo and La Joya before the season started.

Tomorrow morning, I will be giving it a try again. Hopefully, the weather will stay a little windy until tomorrow. This afternoon, it sprinkled just a bit here in Albuq., we will see what happens in the morning. And, I will be trying out a new motion feeder decoy that I put together.
Living large in the southwest.
