Hey, I just got my certificate back from my snowgoose. It was my first band in 30 years of hunting. It was 10 years old, and hatched in Banks Island, Canada, in 2000. That seems way old to me, is that about right??? Also, has anyone else seen the whoopers in La Joya? I havent seen whoopers in 15 years, and my son filmed 2 last week, I called the Bosque Del Apache and they said they haven't seen them and to send them the video.

There is a website that lists the different species of waterfowl and the oldest recorded of each. I can't remember it off the top of my head, but you can find it by google I'm sure. If I remember correctly, the oldest mallard recorded was 20 or 25 years old! So i'm sure a 10 year old snow goose isn't that odd. Check it out man! Let us know what you find, and congrats.
