Big Trouble

Postby duckahlr » Thu Jan 05, 2012 1:24 pm

Pretty sure that we will not be having new birds for the rest of the season. Record birds hatch and no weather to get them here.

Minot, ND - 60*
Billings, MT - 57*
Cheyenne, WY - 60*
Denver, CO- 64*

If you can get on the birds, you better stay on them. Even worse is the outlook for water next year. With no snowfall, we are looking at some dire circumstances. Best of Luck!!

saw a ton of wigeons this past weekend, usually an indicator that the greenies are on the way. they'd better hurry, we're running out of weekends!

AHH yes - well that did cross my mind but it seemed to obvious - anyhow hope your right. I've got one trip left in me this year so I'm heading up there late next week for a few days.

i assume you go up near the dam, since that's where the majority of the public land is....i've never hunted there during the week, is the fly-fisherman situation any better than on the weekends, i.e. are all the parking lots full like they are on saturday and sunday? at any rate, good luck...try to leave a few flying for me, and if possible push them west towards bloomfield so i can have a shot at 'em!
