Try your hand at muzzleloader, archery, shotgun and handgun at the annual New Mexico Outdoor Expo Aug. 17 & 18, 2013 at the Albuquerque Shooting Range Park.
The free event is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. The New Mexico Outdoor EXPO is fun for the whole family. Kids and adults will enjoy the catfish pond, firearm and archery target shooting, casting, fly tying, kayaking, primitive hunting heritage skills, fabulous free exhibits, a climbing wall and much more... Learn from the experts how to improve your fishing and shooting skills.
Certified instructors will staff ranges for .22-caliber rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders and archery, providing one-on-one instructions to participants of all ages.
DIRECTIONS: The shooting range can be found by driving west on I-40 to the top of nine-mile hill and exiting on Atrisco Vista. Go north on Atrisco Vista 4.2 miles to the park sign, then west at park sign 2.6 miles to the range.
