Bitter Lakes NWR - Local Knowledge?

Postby poppin_woodies » Sun Sep 01, 2013 1:18 pm

Anyone ever hunt Bitter Lakes? I scouted it last year a couple of times when I was in Roswell for sales calls. I talked with the park rangers and I'm familiar with the rules. I wanted to see if anyone here hunts the area and maybe some pointers, I plan on hitting it during peak migration.

Any help would be appreciated.

Honestly the river than runs alOng the east side is where the birds are. The pOnds are overcrowded . Water can be a little deep at times though.
