I was wondering how all this rain was playing in to hunts.

Saturday was a bust because of the rain...Sunday however, proved to be very successful

I've got to work on my photos. Long hike in and a long hike out left me with some wet birds.

Eclipse Cinnies--------? Retired state waterfowl biologist once mentioned we shoot quite a few cinnies in the teal season, most think they are BW- however the bills are much longer. You might have a few there. I know Valencia Co is covered with cinnies all summer.

Really hard to tell, but I think a good portion of teal killed in NM in September are cinnamons. I killed a drake cinnamon the last weekend that already had a bit of plumage starting to show(and his iris gave it away too). But I looked him over real hard compared to blue wings, and the bill really isn't much longer. It was a HAIR more "shoveled" and longer, but not by much. If they aren't plumed, they are so hard to tell apart that USGS doesn't even differentiate between the wings.
