Postby lindschesapeake » Tue Dec 05, 2006 7:28 am

The cold weather really helped to push the birds to more comfortable areas.

Wed - moderate bird movement, rain and snow finshed up by 9:30
Thursday - Great early bird movement finshed up and back at truck by 8:30
Friday- on the road again, camping at my old spot, damn full moon, geese coimng back 3 in the morning
Sat - cold, bushwacked 2 candas, waited until 2 inthe afternoon finshed with 2 more bushwacked
Sunday - Damn cold but not cold enough so no west texas migration. Bald Eagels have arrived finally go a nooner Canada and came on home.

Hoping for major cold front to hit west texas and puch some of the big boys into east nm. Can be a real hoot if you hit it just right since it is usually very short lived. Didin't happen for me last weekend but there is still another 2 months.

Oh well quail are still around in some of the back areas I go to so I'll start making a diet on them.
