Any hot spots for ducks? I been Out four times with no luck.

Golf, just curious do you smoke? Reason I ask is I've seen a guy twice now who sets up in a very odd location, this person is either a heavy smoker or builds a fire.

Nope I don't smoke I have not really hunted the river.

Why do I shoot 3.5" shells for ducks and geese ? Because they don't make 4" yet

You could always just dump a 50 lb bag of corn where you want to hunt. I heard that works well with finding birds. :thumbsup:

I prefer to use at least 150lbs. If you only put out 50lbs, it's gone in a day or two. If you put out 150lbs or more and wait about 5 days, you'll be able to kill a lot more birds :yes: .

There are a lot of spots on the river that are walkable. Knee deep water at the most. Just got to get out and find them. Though I heard that La Joya is on fire for spoonies if you're just looking to kill something.
