Back about ten years ago since the last time there was water there
during teal season it varied from a couple inches to over your
waders in the deeper holes.

I didn't hunt teal last season. During the first part of the duck season the water level was two to three feet, then whoever takes care of the water got the level up to three and four foot.Towards the end of the seanon the road and the path to the east ponds were getting flooded. I just wondered if I should buy some light chest waders ,( my regular season waders are to hot and heavy),or push my luck and hope my hip waders will do. Ebay has had some good deals on 600 thinsalate chest waders lately. Thanks for the reply.

It depends on which of the four quadrants too. I haven't hunted the youth side in probably 5 or 6 years, and I avoid the east side with the sickness, but the west side, sans a few spots in the back, never really got above my knees all year long.
