Who is going for turkey? It's been awhile but I have got an itch.

Im definitely headed out, Just not sure where yet. I got a new Full choke for the 870 and need to check it out.

Does anyone know anything about Gould's down in the Bootheel?

I'll definitely be out there. Had too much fun last spring to miss out this year. Did a bit of scouting the last couple weeks but unfortunately the Forest Service still had some of the roads locked. But it should be a good year with all the moisture we've had.
As for the Gould's, it is currently illegal to hunt Gould's in NM. Arizona has opened up for very limited hunting of Gould's in the last year or so. The NWTF is working with NMDGF to reestablish a huntable population of Goulds in the bootheel but it is still years away.
Good luck out there, find some water and you'll probably find birds.
