Have you guys read about this

Postby 870 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 3:06 pm

"Due to recent changes made by Reed Exhibitions regarding the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show, Cabela’s will no longer sponsor this year’s event. After careful consideration regarding Cabela’s business practices, and the feelings of our customers, Cabela’s will, unfortunately, not have a presence "

Pretty cool huh

Maybe I'm out of the loop. What did they do? Pull guns from the show?

You can go to the Harrisburg Show website www.easternsportshow.com and get a copy of sponsers, exhibitors and you can click on "contact us" to send messages of how you feel.
Total boycott of both the show and the vendors/sponsors has been suggested.

Yeah it's a pretty big deal down this way.
Vendors are pulling out quickly.
Couldn't be happier with them.
Who does their PR anyway what a knucklehead!

Eddie Salter "the Turkey Man along with Alex Rutledge, Hank Parker, Todd Coppernoll, Roger Raglin, and Spook Span among others have joined the group protesting the shows and joining the boycott. Please contact the Show at the link above as well as the vendors.......praise the ones that have backed out and critize the ones still going and of course DO NOT ATTEND YOURSELF!!!! This can have a huge impact/boost on 2nd Ammendment support. Sends a very clear message that WE control the purse strings of the Sporting Industry. Lobbist for retail sales will take this message straight to the white house!

Hey Tom, I'm having trouble finding the Contact Us button. I also notice quite a few big names of sponsors on their site. They forget to update with all of the people that have dropped out? :hammer:

JPaul Jackson and the migration nation today announced they are pulling out along with the outdoor channel and a host of others. If we keep the pressure up on those sponsoring or promoting this show there won't be anything left to go see. Good job so far bit this is only 1 battle and the war is not over so keep at it!

That explains everything! There should not only be a boycott, but a major protest!

Looks like everyone's efforts paid off and got the organizers to cancel the show. Well done!

Keep the presure up PLEASE contact REED Exhibitions or Eastern Sports and Outdoor Shows to let them know, it is about OUR 2nd Ammendment Rights infringement NOT about Hunting and Fishing. WE the Sportsmen (both Vendors/Sponsors and Attendees) have taken a stand to support OUR 2nd Ammendment.
While this will undoutably hurt the economy of both the local (Harrisburg, Pa) and the National community, it should be praised as a Huge sacrifice that we ALL are willing to endure to preserve our Rights.
I was with an outfitter in a duck blind when he got the news that the show was canceled.....in that moment he lost his $4000 deposit for his booth!!!! Plus any potential revenue, cost of brochures, etc. His reaction........ a moment of shock, dropped his head and said......"the people have spoken!" Despite his loss.......he accepted the sacrifice in the name of Liberty!
Great Job everyone,
Your fellow Patriot
