Postby labtrainer » Fri Jan 25, 2013 7:33 am

Just got back from a Chesapeake hunt, photo of 2nd day 22 ducks 6 species: mallard, black, widgon, bluebill and believe it or not Wooduck and Green wing Teal! January 23&24. First day, shot a limit of Geese, but no pics.
Great trip lots of fun!

Hey LT
My in laws live in Easton and I have been thinking about getting down there for a hunt. They don't hunt but have a house off the Choptank (I think its island creek) with boat access. I would love to get out there in the future. I know the laws are very particular in MD. Who would you recommend down there to talk to get the low down? I've tried reading through the details on the internet but its so confusing. Gunning Zone, "hunting on the natural bottom", state blinds drawings, having to be with a MD resident.... Whats the deal with hunting there as a non-resident?
