Good Evening All,
Just got a lead from a friend on a location with a large amount of snow geese. I have never hunted them before, have no decoys, and limited knowledge. Can anyone offer input?

Good luck. I'm not saying it can't be done but without decoys you might have a chance on pass shooting a few if your really cautious, and get up on them before they see you and blow out of the field or roost. I think hunting snows is increadably frustrating and they are difficult to decoy on a good day. In my opinion they are more unpredictable than Canadas or ducks. This season a buddy and i scouted about 50,000 landing in an afalfa for 2 days in a row only to set up 500 fullbodies and then watch flock after flock fly over all morning with out even a look.
