Hunting T/C Co-op tomorrow

Postby IRISH56 » Fri Oct 20, 2006 3:37 pm

Anyone hunting the Tompkins/Cayuga Co-op blinds tomorrow?? My brothers and I will be hunting #71 so if you're there please feel free to say hi ... and happy hunting

The boat blind will FINALLY be installed tomorrow afternoon (depending on the hunting of course) so we'll be hunting from the water the rest of the year

Good luck to all on tomorrow's opener (in the west anyways) and be safe!

870 - Thanks man! It's about a mile hike in (not the bad part) so I'd hate to have to hike 2 doz. dekes and all the other junk back that quick (the bad part - UPHILL  )

With a 3 man limit that would = :help: :help: :help: :help:

Anyone been to Cayuga-Tompkins lately? What's the action like down there?

I was thinking of going a few weeks ago but it sounded slow so we held off.

My brother was there last weekend, I was chasing bambi ... unsuccesfully I might add, and saw a good number of mallards and a few flocks of divers. He hunted blind #71 and did nothing however the group in #69 (the blind on the point) had a lot of shooting apparently, a couple of nice flocks came in on their spread. For what it's worth!!!!!!!
