its certainly easier to get the 15 when you are alone!!! nice job...I wish I had some morning feed spots now....no cut corn yet....but i went out up on the big river today for the night flight back onto the river.....one flock went on the side i had fishermen....by the time they cleared them,i only had an opportunity at the last bird....but it was successfull...waited until 7:54...legal was 7:56!!! I could hear the flock coming but couldnt see them till they were 50 yards out...they went right over me at 20 yards up.....the big gun barked 6 times......I was estatic at the feeling....it was raining geese..i was so lucky the two close ones didnt land on my bimini top... they would have ripped it to shreds......the fishermen let out an audible HOLY..S*&#T.....imy gun still has the damm Skeet choke in the gun from this summer Forum shoot in MA....and it rained havoc with collateral damage to the poor flock.....it took me a while to clean up that mess....luckily Sunny obeys enough to be called off a retrieve, and get the two crips first.......it was supposed to be cloudy with 80% chance of showers...but the sun popped out and it was clear...not a cloud above when legal came...thats why the flock was so late....picking up several more flocks piled in....
as usual I am reminded how great plans dont work, when everything changes...when i got there is was 10+pmh breeze out of the NE..., by 7: 30 it was 5-7 out of the NW....., then it dropped out to dead calm at 7:45.....grrrr
good hunting folks
