New york season extension?

Postby beater » Thu Dec 14, 2006 11:07 pm

Has anybody heard of a possible season extention in new york for waterfowl. There was an article in the new york game and fish magazine about it and was just wondering if anybody knows anything about it?

Yeah. I heard they were going to run the season until mid January everywhere except in the St.Lawrence River Valley around Clayton (Ha Ha 870!):umm:

Just kidding. I don't know anything about it. Do you have a reference we could look at.

I had heard that there is a possibility that they may open up the resident goose season earlier in the future, but right now it's just speculation. I hadn't heard anything about the regular season being extended. I know the number of days that we're allowed to hunt is set by the feds.

Don't be fooled, those aren't real ducks. It's a sheet with a bunch of ducks painted on it. I saw it when I was up there earlier this season. :toofunny:

For future reference: If you ever get the idea to use one of your wife’s good white sheets to nail up for a better back ground and hang ducks off of…. DON’T they get real PO :pissed: Believe me I know from experience.
