Fishing for Mallards

Postby YankMallard » Sun Feb 11, 2007 10:11 pm

I was out Steele fishing today and I was having a hard time watching my float due to the fact that hundreds of Mallards and Blacks were trying to land in the hole I was fishing. They would locK right up and come over the trees almost landing on me!! It was firggin sweet if we only got this weather during the season. Still managed to 7-13 on the steeles though.

That sounds sweeet Yank. I’d be scouting that spot for next season Congrats on the steelheads

Maybe you might want to take one of your longer trolling rods with you the next time your fishing that hole and slap the webfeet when they come in :toofunny:
