Saltwater wood duck! Love those birds. You hunt out of blinds on the east end? Or are you allowed to use a boat?

We use a boat blind, with the way that wind has been lately it gets us in the hunt. I haven't seen any guys in blinds yet due to there placement where we hunt.

funny Tim, i seldom see them in the salt...same goes for the common mergs...never see them in salt water. I see the red breaster all the time...

stopped by one of the NYC resivoirs to check out the massive flock of divers sitting on the lake near shore..... MERGS


all commons.,... and a LOT of drakes..

so its cold up north now, we know that!!

Back in the marsh creeks we get them all the time, they like grabbing killies out of the mud all winter.
No island leaft for Islanders like me.
