Afternoon boys! Just registered to the site, and thought I'd say hi. So far I must say that this site is just what a new waterfowler is looking for! I look forward to the chit-chat and advice. Thanks.

Hey MH911 :welcome: glad you could join us here on DHC. How’s Wilson Hill I believe that’s what it’s called, did you get to hunt there last year? I use to work up in Massena at the GM plant doing some haz-mat clean up. I live up the River some in Clayton. Man we have all that chitchat stuff down pat. There is a ton of duck/goose nuts on here that just love to share what they know. I’ve been hunting ducks for forty years and I’m still learning things here and there from these guys. So once again :welcome:

I used to work the Syracuse/Massena run for Conrail a while ago, my dad hunts Snowshoes up there. Nice area. You work for the USCG?

Hey Clutch. Yep, I'm a Coastie... I also go after rabbits, and there's plenty of spots up here to do it! BTW, I plan on working for CSX after I retire in 8 years. Any tips?

Only tip I can give you is not to get stuck in the middle of a pissing match between two unions. I loved the job and the money, but I ended up learning alot of stuff the hard way.
