Well I saw the first Goslings of the year. I was out pike fishing and the boy and saw a pair and their 5 poslings up on the shore. They couldn't of been more than a couple of days old. I keep hearing reports from guys of all the nest they've been seeing. It looks like it might be another great year, lets hope

Good to hear from you 870! It's been kind of quiet on this forum lately. I've seen lots of pairs of geese scattered about but no chicklets yet. Hopefully we are in for another good year!

Theres life after all. I can always count on there to be a post in the New York forum. Wish we had birds and chicks around, not much but tame mallards and wood ducks around here.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.

Took my neice fishing today. Spent a little while about ten yards away from a limit of Mallards. They were big fellas too. These are probably the same ones that won't come within 150 yds of my decoys come october.

I've seen plenty of gosslings around as well for the past week or two. Hopefully it will be a good year.

I saw my first goslings today while driving down the road. I was going by this culvert and there was a pair of geese by it and they were acting nervous. I slowed down to look and saw four little ones. As I drove by one of the parents started chasing the truck.

Hey CLUTCH they may be Ducks, but that doesn’t make then stupid. I’ve personally seen what you do to ducks when you have a shotgun in your hands. Who knows they may of heard of yeah :gatgun:
