Thought you might be interested in some of the new rules at Meyers Point on Cayuga Lake. Here’s a picture of the new sign I saw there today.

Glad to see they're finally getting around to cleaning that area up, it's a real mess during the summer months. Good to see they are also keeping in mind the local hunters.

I can't help you too much other than to tell you what I've seen, we put in our boat @ Myers and normally just head south around the point.

I have seen makeshift blinds set up on the north side of the Salmon Crk. inlet, there is a point there and depending on the water level you can walk out a pretty fair distance. I've also seen guys set up dekes and hunt from the beach at UC Point (now Salt Point I guess.) I've heard it's real hit and miss but you never know till you try

Good luck and be careful. I'd keep abreast of any new regulations they might impose there also.

In the past you could only hunt on the north side of the creek (the state land side). There's a town park on the south side of the creek and they don't allow guns, and this applies down to the LOW water mark. I don't know how that's defined, but anyway that's what the conservation officer who kicked me out of the town park told me.
