Early goose is just 2.5 months away and I'm getting excited

I picked up a dozen full bodies, may get a new call, and am looking into the annual ammo purchase. :gatgun:

This weekend I'm gonna go scout out a few spots, knock on some doors.

Anyone else getting ready (other than CLUTCHfan, I know he's getting ready), or am I really early?

you are not alone. every free minute is consumed with something related to goose hunting. whether its knocking on doors, scouting, painting decoys, flocking decoys or dog training. i can not wait.

I'm looking forward to Sept. goose too. But I haven't done any scouting since my last turkey hunt. My "work" lately has been to work on some decoys. A black duck and some bufflehead. And duck season doesn't even start for about 4 months!

Count me in, but I don’t have to go scouting for them they are scouting for me. I had 53 sitting just off my dock at camp looking at me putting new shingles on it. This time I was the one working, but one day they will be working,,, working to be missed by my 3” #2’s  :gatgun: :banger:
