Bass anyone?

Postby DiscoDuck » Fri Jun 22, 2007 8:55 pm

Here's a couple pics of the smallmouths from last weekends opener. We fished one of the rivers going in to Lake Ontario. I've been fishing the opener there since 1987. Started going with my grandfather when I was 13, and have only missed one year since. We've had some unbelievable years up there, and a few that were not so hot. Only once in those 20 years have we gotten skunked. He finally died a few years ago, and I miss him every time I go there, but what a legacy he left. I threw in a couple bonus pics of some of my hunting partners (my 2nd and 3rd daughters).

Thanks Joel. It's one of the few days of the year that I actually keep fish, unless they're walleyes! I'll keep enough brookies for a pan full once or twice a year. Besides, you can't eat very many of the fish out of Ontario anyway! Welcome to the DHC! :welcome:
