last day duckin

wanted divers, but settled for a mix. we pounded the mallards and gadwal today and mixed in some bluebills. I shot only 1 black duck in january on the salt water this year....the blacks and the geese were missing in action...

luckily the widgeon, golden eye, and the mallards worked .

got back to the ramp and it was still light out. Motor dropped a cylinder, i think.....would not idle...made for a worrisome day..

plus my father had a tumor removed from his colon today, and he had heart surgery a few years ago.... so it was harry.....but the operation went great.

intensly chaotic year over all for sure...but I still managed to bag more mallards this season , than I can remember in a long time.. mostly quick hunts, or small sets on rivers and creeks.

hope everyone enjoyed their season

Nice hunt tool! Hope your dad is doing well.

We had a great late season this year. Best year I've had with the broadbill and redhead.

Good season, nice job fellas. We were covered in Broadbill this season and the blackducks really showed up towards the end. We got a few real fatties. It is so bittersweet to have to go shoot geese now.
