Saturday in a Corn Field

Postby harvey1b » Sun Sep 16, 2007 5:28 am

Yesterday I went out goose hunting with 870 and his son Dave. 870 is death with the goose flag, we started calling it the "meat flag"' and Dave strait put it on the geese. For myself, after some serious attitude adjustments to Lily I managed to knock down a few. It was a great hunt with some great guys. Below are some photos.

. . . . and once it slowed down Lily thought Don's blind looked better than her own!

Thanks again Don and Dave!

Very Nice Fella's!

You had quite a bit of cleaning to do...
Lots of jerky there.

Hey Disco, Dave’s the baby of the family, he’s 6’ 5” 230lb even his sister is over 6ft.

Yes we did have a lot of breasting to do after that hunt. I can’t stop thinking about it. Matt and Jeanette were great host, totally made to feel at home.

If any of you boys ever get a chance to hunt with Matt and Lily jump at the chance, I know we will.

Thanks again Matt, Jeanette and Lily

My wife tells me to bring something home for dinner when I go hunting. So I make sure to stop at Wegmans before I go.

Yeah that thought did cross my mind Disco. You should have seen him throw a football, but he wasn’t interested. He has only one thing on his mind and that’s become a policeman. He completed two years of collage to meet what the trooper’s require.

I believe he’s looking to pass a test first, isn’t that how it works, I don’t know. He’s looking to take the Jefferson county Sheriffs and he’s even going up to Vermont to take their Trooper test in November. I would love to see him become a Trooper in NY, but time will tell.

Hey 870, Have the Lad come down here and test. Monroe county is having a Road Patrol exam soon. He'd fit right in here bro. My partner is 6'9 and 325. I've really never felt small next to a guy, but "The Giant" (as I call him) really takes the cake. Can you believe that there are A-Holes who still try to fight with him? Lets just say they tend to have a bad day! Tell JR. good luck with the test taking. One other thing........HE MUST TAKE THE DEC TEST! Although Ive had a few rough run ins with them ( last Deer season) I think they have the best Job out of all NYState Law Enforcement.
