I'm back

Postby 870 » Thu Sep 27, 2007 4:07 pm

We’ve had computer problems and I’ve been going through withdraws in a big way. I was shaking so bad people thought I was waving at them.

We ended the early goose season on a high note. Dave and I limited out on Sun by 8:00AM We had them landing in our decoys and Dave said I had one land about five feet behind my blind, I saw the one that landed 15 ft away. They were so close we could have killed them with a 410 I’m hopelessly addicted to field hunting Geese. THANKS MATT!!!!!!

Harvey: We'll have to get you into some divers this season. Then you'll be torn between the two.

I'm definitely game. The only question is how will I convince the little lady that in addition to a covered trailer for all my field hunting gear, I'm going to need a diver set up?

Hey John if we were to get Matt into long lining those Divers, he’d be out there trying to long line Canada’s

Matt as far as explaining or convincing the wife on the things I need for my addiction AKA “water fowling” I stopped a long time ago. Stuff just shows up at the house then she throws her hands up and walks away mumbling to herself.

Now when I want to buy something totally unrelated to duck hunting, the first question she ask is “what does this have to do with hunting”, she’s so suspicious .

My wife thinks that whenever I go somewhere or ask her what we're doing on a particular day, it has something to do with hunting. She says I always have "alterior motives".

 That's exactly what my wife thinks!! Most times she's right though...I just blame it on the little guy  ..."C'mon hon, how do you expect me to to show the boy a good time without (fill in the blank)? We need this!"...It doesn't always work, but I gotta try every trick I can come up with...
