Alright guys to let everyone know... big migrations by me (onondaga hill) this morning. ... however when I got home from work at 10 they are still flying.... there moving fast be ready guys!

That's funny. I live not too far northeast of you between 2 farms that usually pull tens of thousands of them and have not seen a bird yet.

Finally saw a few snows mixed in with the big flocks of Canadas on a local farm today. not many, 15-20 but it's a start. Unfortunately I took several more drives around the area throughout the day and never saw any more either flying or feeding.

There has been a steady parade of high flying flocks over my house since around 10am this morning(sat.) but very few stopping in the area.

Hey to sgk, Were abouts are yo seeing birds, We are headed to W.Chazy for 1st and 2nd of April, Was suppose to go 19th and 20th, Was cold with no birds, Thanks.

I am just north of Syracuse. Set up in a local flooded field last evening. Had one big flock(400-500) drop down to within about 100yds. then fly off. These birds are maddening.

Thanks sgk, I have never been snow hunting, There has never been any here in NH were I live, Been a duck and Canadian junkie for 30 years and had several folks hunt these white birds and say they are a challange, Looking forward to getting addicted. Good luck.

you'll be much more frustrated than addicted. They are a pain in the ass to hunt. Im sticking with cans and ducks
