Pit Bull Attack.....

Postby Slack Tide » Thu May 08, 2014 5:31 am

I will begin by saying that you are simply NOT going to believe this......
First, have a look at my dog.....I have plants that cause me more grief.....

To begin....100% shame on my nanny for allowing my 11 year old English Bulldog "Dude" to wander to the end of the dead end street to the park without a leash...no doubt....but we live in a seasonal community that is very rural and there is nearly NO one around...

The neighbor down the road, who I am friends with....has a thing for "terrier mixes".....educated white guy...Wall St type....etc......I just don't understand what it is that makes him want these dogs...but that's that..
The last one decided to try to eat the garbage trucks tire and went up in to the wheel well and got crushed...and this recent one broke into the neighbor's house, knocked over the bird cage and ate the bird! Across the street in the neighbors house!

So the owner walked the length of a 100 yard parking lot to "say hello"....all the while telling my nanny that "my dog's not friendly!"...my dog as off the leash ( I was at work) and he nudged open the gate and the pit locked on.....the nanny grabbed my 2 year old son in one arm....my 4 year old in the other and the woman was telling her to "do something" as her dog tore open my dogs face.....

Somehow 5 staples and all the meds cost me $150 at a local vet and I figured since I wasn't there and the Dude was off the leash....I'd better just mend fences and let it go....

The other owner told me that we can "hug it out" when she sees me......

the amazing thing about this story is the ungodly cheap vet bill for a dog that needed five staples to mend!!!

id be looking at $400 min.....

good luck
