With the lack of water, I'd imagine a lot of folks won't hunt around here. I'd go if it weren't for the False Albacore run at the coast.
It would be a good weekend for a "fin and feather" combo day; shoot a few birds in the morning, and catch some fish afterwards.

There's still some water left in my swamp. I'll be there with bells on. I've seen a few birds, but even if there are none in the swamp, it will still be a great day no doubt!

Its always duck season, there is just a long break from february to september.

If anyone hunts pamlico point saturday let me know about the hunt. we may hunt monday morning after the crowd is gone. thanks ruddyduck
