What sort of coverage is it? A small 1 acre or less, 5 acre, 10 etc... Does the water level change? Are there transitional areas in the shallows? Sorry not trying to be a smart mouth but if you share some more details might be able to do a little more to help. Site visits help as well :)

I have heard Jap millet works well as long as the water is not over 6-8 inches deep.
