New pup

Postby Duck U 2 » Thu Mar 23, 2006 3:15 pm

Hey Guys,
Here's a picture of my new pup (Dixie) I just got last weekend from "Pot Hole" at Back Creek Kennel.

She already likes to retrieve like crazy, and she's only 7-1/2 weeks old![/img]

Sorry I didn't get over there. Congrats on the pup.
Yeah I'm a curmudgeon and I like it that way. Don't tell me how to do something I already know how to do. Don't ask me for help if you already think you know how to do everything. If you want my opinion just sit back and I'll share.

Look for a repeat breeding next fall from that litter. From all indications, it looks like there's going to be some nice dogs coming produced from that breeding.

Keep me posted on how she's doing.

I'll definately keep you posted on her progress.
She already retrieves the baby bunker, and LOVES the wing on a string!

Great looking pup!

Pothole, you throw some yellows and I might just be able to talk the wife into it :umm:

I had one yellow male left from this litter, but he sold two weeks ago.

Got a yellow/black breeding planned for the future. Stay tuned.

I really should take more pictures. I was surprised at how few I have of any training. My wife takes a ton of her being a baby though :tounge:

Just be glad you have her - my wife says that the next chocolate I have that looks like her won't be leaving my kennel!

Keep us posted on her progress.

Well, I can't say that I blame your wife for wanting one. Dixie's a pretty pup (although I am a little bias)
She's a pleasure to train, and picks up on things quickly. I would definately repeat this breeding if I were you.
