I have waterfowl wading system waders with the 1200 grams boots. They are breathable but you slap some layers on and your good to go I use them from early to last day.

3mm neoprene stockingfoot waders, oversize bird hunting pants (cordura on legs for brush busting) and a cheap pair of oversize boots. The stockingfoot waders are warm enough for most NC & SC hunting, the boots being tied on over the foot part stay put in swampy muck and the brush pants provide tear resistance. Granted it is an oddball combination but I've seen it work very well. And if you get into an impoundment or less brushy situation a pair of inexpensive camo pants will suffice...and if you like you can change camo to match the surroundings if you prefer without buying all new waders.

lacrosse is Junk... IMO... EVERY pair i have seen have leaked in the seams..

Best pair Bar none .. IMO are the Cabelas 1600 Supermags tough as nails and take a beating. And if you have a problem of any kind Cabelas will stand behind them

I have a pair of the cabelas brush busters. They are cordura. Toughest wafer IMO out there. Have had them for 5 years now and no problems. Only issue is keeping warm because they are not very insulated. Boots are 1000 grams just have to layer under them. But I'm not sure if cabelas makes them anymore haven't seen them in a while in the catalog. All my hunting buddies have the cabelas 1600 super mag and they love them

Have neoprene (leak at seams), Cabela's brush busters (wear in timber/flooded woods), but the best money spent on waders (by my wife) was a pair of breathable waders from LL Bean (never owned anything from Bean before except second hand decoys and a thermos cover). Can wear in truck, boat, blind, etc. Have worn in mild timber, but would not take them where know there would be briars or heavy potential for stump damage. Good luck.

Cabela's SuperMags have done me well. Pushed throught the woods many of time to get to swamps, hunted impounds where you remain submerged for the entire hunt, used them out of both boat, box and layout blinds with no issues for three years. Just started to developed a crotch leak yesterday. So I am pretty pleased and feel like I got my monies worth. Good luck!

i will have to admit Lacrosse really is junk when it comes to there wader's.
i am sending back my third pair of lacrosse waders, these where the new ATS waders that costed me round 300 bucks. first 2 pairs where brush tuff. This is all within 3 years. I have recently purchased a pair of cabelas super mag waders, i have only wore them bout 4 times since i got them and so far so good. Everyone i hunt with that has had lacrosse waders they have leaked in the crotch.
Pretty much if anyone asked me about what waders to buy i tell them to stay away from Lacrosse. So do what you want to with this advice but i can almost promise you if you buy Lacrosse you will be wet before the season is out unless you wear water proof pants under your waders.

Have been hunting in a pair of Cabela's ultimate waders for about 8 years ..no problems. The supermags are nice but i have only wore mine about twice in the last few years. They get heavy and I really don't need 1600 grams of insulation. Unless it's pretty frigid outside, say very low 20's or less your probably gonna get very warm !!

Lacrosse are junk. I have a pair of brush tuffs that leaked in the rubber boot right around the ankle after the first year. They also leak in the seams. I will never buy another pair again. At $300 bucks they should be much better waders.

I bought a pair of Frogg Togg marsh Toggs and so far so good. They are comfortable, keep me dry and only set me back $120 bucks I can't complain.
