New to duck hunting. Please help.

Some suggested to post here. I live in Texas.

This is my first season to duck hunt. Well lets say I started 3 weeks ago and I'm addicted.
I shot two shovel bills my first time out. I have a question though. I am hunting my grandparents pond
and behind their small pond are two LARGE catfish farm ponds. I see 100s of duck every morning
but none come to land on my pond they just raise up from the large ponds
and see mine from above but don't fly over mine. Is it a lost cause trying to compete? No one hunts the pond and might even
be getting fed due to maybe feeding the catfish. Besides decoy, any way I could draw them over? The ponds are 200 yards away from the pond I'm hunting.
Thank you,
Eric
