Wake County Geese

Postby duckaholic2285 » Wed Aug 30, 2006 4:41 pm

So I finally found some geese near state that arn't in people's fricken back yards or own construction sites. I just wanted to make sure that in wake county I can shoot geese this saturday (sept 2.) and that the limit is 8. Hopefully I'll post a pic, after the massacre of tame birds.

I believe that's what unccgrad shoots, not sure if he made it over here from the refuge or not but I'll put a bug in his ear.

(however, I've got an original beretta xtrema that that is about 2.5 years old in max-4 that I'd cut ya a deal on  )

Not sure exactly what you're looking for but Wal-Mart sells a version of the Beretta 390 for $529 in black matte, made in the USA. I've had really good luck with my 390 for everything from doves to geese.

Ducker, you haven't sold that gun yet? How much is it, and what's the overall difference between the extema and extrema 2 ?

Haven't really tried that hard, not really in the need for cash...just hate to have it sitting there collecting dust. I haven't even gotten the pictures together for it yet

I'll take $850 if its picked up in person. That's about $50 cheaper than you can find a used one via gunbroker, etc... plus you won't have any shipping or tax.

As for the differences, the xtrema 2 has the kick off recoil reduction and is slimmed down a little bit with a little less length of pull (which is what I really wanted).
