Dog Help

Postby pamlicohunter » Wed Sep 06, 2006 10:08 am

Currently I have a litter of 8 lab pups 4 yellows and 4 blacks, my wife and I are going to keep one but we are debating between three. We currently have a black female, and are debating between a yellow female or two yellow males. So what do you guys think?

Male or Female?

Laid back or all over the place?

Darker yellow or lighter yellow?

Thanks for the help.

This is just my personal preference, but I prefer females. I also like the laid back ones the most, they seem to be able to focus more in the field, and it also makes life easier at the house. As for color, I would look for the dog that meets the first two criteria, and take the color that matches the first two.
There is no such thing as a cripple being too close!!! If so, you might never see it again. I'm not going to take that chance!!!

The laid back one is a male, whereas the female is all over the place.
