Dare Co. Float Blind holders

Postby quackedout » Fri Sep 27, 2013 11:35 pm

Just wanted to give everybody with a dare co. float blind this year a heads up..I heard from a wildlife officer that there will be federal wardens out this season enforcing the pea island nwr proclamation boundary. The proclamation boundary is an invisible line that goes out into the water from the actual refuge land that is still considered refuge property. There is supposed to be no hunting within this invisible line. To see the coordinates you can go here http://www.fws.gov/peaisland/ProcBoundary.html.

It's not an invisible line, you can clearly see from one marker(we call them the goose stakes) to the next. No one even float hunts on the outside, much less in it.
