I put the rods away last Sunday. Duck blind construction tomorrow (gonna get wet but going anyway), traveling next weekend, then building another blind on 2 Nov.
I will ready on the 9th.
If this warm wx does not change I will probably wish I kept the rods out.

Keep the rods ready. I always have a couple rods on the boat during the early November season. Big trout can be caught this time of the year.
We did all the blinds last week, hopefully the high water didn't mess them up. Waiting on the ducks and the 9th.
Good luck this year.
Put that duck call in your pocket, you're not that good, and you're flaring birdshttp://www.CaptGarysDowneast.comI support "Safe Hunter Law"Tip your guide! He can't control the ducks or how poorly you shoot!

I never put my rods away. When I go out to hunt ducks, there is always a couple of trout rods on board.
