Duck hunting Jordan lake

Postby Duckhunter355 » Sat Nov 30, 2013 8:39 pm

Hello, I live very close to Jordan lake and have heard mixed things about it for duck hunting. I didn't know if it was worth trying to hunt. I was wondering if there were any spots on it that I could get some ducks. Im just trying to figure out if there are spots that are better than others right now.

Have you gone out there to look at it? Birds are around you just have to find them. You are going to catch H3LL for this one to give you a heads up. Put the work in and look for them. Great first post...

You have to go and look. If there are birds there they move around, never staying stationary for too long due to the pressure. Prepare for a first class reaming, quite frankly it may be deserved.j

The sky is black with em where I hunt at jordan. If you set up in my spot I guarantee youll have your limit 30 mins after LST. It is at GPS coordinates . . .

Is that what you were hoping for?

No there are not. Much of the land around the lake is state park land and you'll get a ticket...this also includes most of the boat ramps. I believe there are only two ramps on the entire lake that are wildlife ramps and allow guns.
Do your homework and make sure you're legal.

lodging nearby. No pets allowed. Sneak your lab in as a "service animal"

ask for Ramesh upon check-in and tell him you want the hunters special
