Impoundment on Outfall Canal Tract on Gull Rock

How deep is that impoundment? Is it wadable?

If you are referring to the Gull Rock impoundment, yes, you can wade it. There is a corner entrance point in the NW corner, or you can walk around to the back side and get it. Or, just bring a canoe and float it.

Let me add that like all impoundments, there are holes and ditches.

Should you....... no

You will see more hunters than ducks. :fingerhead:

You can only hunt it on tue. and sat.

Its always duck season, there is just a long break from february to september.

I have also killed ducks there, mostly woodies, teal, and black ducks. But, you will see the occasional pintail, mallard ring neck and wigeon come in, not to mention other divers off the sound.
