Lake gaston regulation

Postby drakemed323 » Thu Jan 02, 2014 6:46 am

I have a question about gaston. I have never hunted there and have looked for lake regulations but can't find any. I was told that you must hunt from a boat blind at gaston. Can anyone give me more info about where I can find the lake rules. Can you hunt from the bank? Can you use natural vegetation to conceal your boat blind? Thanks

When you visit Lake Gaston to scout for possible locations you will notice all land surrounding the lake is private. Public access to lake waters is by boat landing only and at those location launching a boat is the only allowed activity (ie no fishing or swimming).

Make sure you are not near any of the docks used as private helicopter landing docks (I know of at least 2) They make a hell of a racket when leaving for work each morning.
