WANTED: Herters 72 decoys

Postby BPC » Mon Mar 17, 2014 7:25 pm

I am looking for some Herters 72 decoys. Painted, unpainted, with or without heads doesn't matter to me. Let me know if you have any that you want to sell.

Thanks for the information. I contacted the folks in the "free classified" section but they were sold quickly. I mold my own bodies but if they were cheap enough I'd buy them from someone else too.

How much would you pay for bodies that were molded by someone else? Define cheap enough? I have a mold and enough foam to do hundreds and getting more is no problem... I'm currently starting out and molding my own with no intent to sell, but money talks and I would gladly do more if the price was right.

Don't want to steal the thread but do you guys have an alternative to the steel 6 inch eyebolts? Getting tired of replacing them every few years from rusting out. SS is just to expensive. I wonder if anyone makes a hard plastic/synthetic eyebolt?

I just buy the stainless. It's cheaper in the long run. I don't know of a synthetic but I'd be interested in trying them out if I could find some.
