Looking for good breeders

Postby ecu_duckhunter » Tue Apr 29, 2014 10:54 am

Hello I hope everyone is doing well and missing duck season as much as I am. I am graduating from ecu in a few days and I am looking to finally getting and training my own dog. My father has always had labs and trained them himself. I am looking for a lab or a chessie. Anybody know of any breeders here in NC who have a good rep and produce good waterfowl dogs?

Thanks everyone!

Robert Hughes is a good buddy of mine. He is about to have a litter of puppies upcoming. Mother is our current hunting dog which is Hunt test certified, and the Father is also. Great dogs and resonably priced. All his dogs are trained to HUNT not win trials.

Woody Thurman
Twin Lakes Kennels

If you ask 10 duck hunters who have been in the game for a while, 6-7 of them will name drop Woody.
