I would think we still got 2-3 weeks before we get any. The earliest I ever try for them is the first week of November but I do know some guys who start punishing them towards the end of October.
You can see them off the beach all year on occasion. Not in any real numbers but there are sea ducks that will hang around all year. Real numbers will depend on the weather up north.
Yeah i thought it was early but i had heard they come early Oct. had a friend from outerbanks say he saw a flight or two passing over the beach while he was cleaning hot tubs.Thanks for the replys. guess ill just keep killing pintail and teal till sunday.. :thumbsup:
Who cares, nastiest birds in the water, can't eat them, my dog won't even eat them, and they are absolutely no fun at all to shoot at and really hard to decoy!
