Coastal hunting spots

Anybody got any good coastal spots in mind for this week? How far inland do you have to go to find a Mallard? Man I miss those green headed little @#$%.

Mallards this early?

All we see during this early season is woodies and teal... We have killed some mallards that escaped from a farm (they were toe clipped). Maybe others find mallards this early. I just never have.

Good to know. I know right now back in Missouri my brother is already taking Mallards and Snows. I just didn't know how it was here in NC. I need to find either a hunting partner with a boat or some good spots to walk in.
