Hunted with my buddy south of Washington Saturday, 8 OCT. Saw a total of about 10 woodies and slightly more moccasins. We sat in pouring rain for a few hours after dawn, then decided to break for breakfast. Riding through town we relized how much water ha come down. I guess the area got 12" of water in 24hrs. It didn't do much to help the hunting, but it didn't stop it either. We hunted until dusk, never firing a shot. We did manage, however, to fill the time with hunting lies ... so it wasn't that bad after all.
