South East North Dakota

Postby codymn » Wed Oct 06, 2010 12:35 pm

Hi,

I am going to South East North Dakota this year Oct 18-22, with my father.

We've never hunted in ND, and I'm wondering if this is a decent area for pheasants and ducks?
Richland County is what I'm talking about. Towns: Hakinson and lidgerwood

It looks as though there is enough water around there to hold ducks and enough public land (plots/wpas etc)

Anyone familiar with the area, could you let me know if this would be a good decision? Also, any place to park a small trailer? or where to stay?

Thanks,

Cody

i visit lidgerwood every year for the past ten years and have yet to have a dull year. there is a hotel in lidgerwood and in foreman just west of there. many pot holes to hunt in that area i am leaving on the 16 to the 23 as well good luck theres lots of water so we should have a good time
