If you had the choice to hunt the first week or the last week of October in the SE area of ND which would you choose and why? Thanks!!

Can you handle cold? Like 20 degrees cold? If not the last week of Oct. probally isn't a safe bet.
Do you hunt over water? If so the last week of Oct. probally isn't a safe bet.
Do you hunt over fields? If so the last week of Oct is where its at.
Historically from what I have seen hunting ND (as a resident for 4 years) the first two weeks of the season are stellar. Birds are dumb as a bag of rocks. After two weeks all the resident birds have been chased away and are a little more wary. Then comes about a two week lull. Then BOOM migration. Birds are dumb as rocks again. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps.
