Specks

I hunt mostly the eastern side of the state, I was wondering if anyone kills a few specks throughout the year on the eastern half. Personally I didn't see any this season, could've missed em or possibly been in the mix with other flocks.

I've never seen one in the northeastern part of the state but the central and west has quite a few that pass through so I'm sure some sway eastward.

Thanks. I was kind of thinking Minot and around there might get a few; always wanted to shoot one i've heard they are a delicacy.

We do get a fair amount out West but it's really year by year to determine how many will stop and how many will fly us over.

And you're right, it's the best tasting goose for sure IMO.
